Sodium bicarbonate
Sodium bicarbonate, with the molecular formula NaHCO₃, is an inorganic compound, white powder or fine crystal, odorless, salty, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, and the aqueous solution is slightly alkaline. It is easy to decompose when heated, and slowly decomposes in humid air to produce carbon dioxide. It begins to decompose at about 50°C and completely decomposes when heated to 270°C. When encountering acid, it decomposes strongly and produces carbon dioxide. Sodium bicarbonate is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, light industry, textile and other industrial fields as well as people's daily life.

Product application scope
Chemical Industry
Steel smelting and mineral processing: Sodium bicarbonate is used as a flux in smelting steel and is also used in the mineral processing process.
Rubber industry: In the production of rubber and sponges, sodium bicarbonate is used in conjunction with alum and sodium bicarbonate pore-forming agents to evenly create pores.
Printing and dyeing industry: used as fixing agent for dyeing, material coloring and printing, post-treatment agent for fabric dyeing and finishing, acid-base buffering agent, etc.
Fire-fighting equipment: used to produce acid-base fire extinguishing agents and foam fire-extinguishing agents.
Food industry
Loosening agent: Sodium bicarbonate is an important loosening agent in the production of biscuits, pastries, bread and other foods, and is also a carbon dioxide generator in carbonated drinks.
Baking powder: Alkaline baking powder can be produced by compound reaction with alum, which is mainly used in the production of flour products and puffed foods.
