what is Thiourea Dioxide
Thiourea dioxide is an inorganic compound. As a substitute for insurance powder, it has the characteristics of strong reducibility, good thermal stability, and convenient storage and transportation. The compound is non-toxic and odorless, and is white crystalline particles or powder crystals with a density of approximately 2.25 g/cm³, a melting point of 126°C, and a boiling point of 355.3°C. It is stable in acidic solution, but easily decomposes under alkaline conditions to generate highly reducing sulfinic acid, which makes this product have controllable reduction effect.
