Application scenarios

It is a versatile toiletry ingredient and is widely used in the formulation of shampoos, foam bath preparations, and other toiletries and cleaning products. Due to its excellent dissolution properties and mildness to the skin, it is particularly suitable for highly active formulations.

1) Detergent industry:

Widely used in liquid detergents such as hair and shower gels, dishwashing detergents, bubble bath and hand soaps, compound soaps, etc. SLES can also be used with laundry detergents and heavy-duty detergents. Using SLES instead of LABSA can save or reduce phosphates and reduce the general dosage of active substances.

2) Textile industry:

In the textile, printing and dyeing, petroleum and leather industries, it is a lubricant, dyeing agent, cleaning agent, foaming agent and degreasing agent.

Store in plastic, plastic-lined or stainless steel airtight containers at a temperature between 5 and 40°C. Do not store near strong oxidizers as this will exacerbate any fire situation. It is sensitive to changes in temperature and pH. Decomposition may occur at temperatures above 40°C or under acidic conditions (pH below 5). Decomposition is caused by hydrolysis, and the decomposition products are acids that catalyze further hydrolysis. Storage at temperatures below its set point will require reheating, thereby risking overheating and decomposition, especially near a heating source. Such extreme storage, handling and use conditions should be avoided. It contains a small amount of citric acid, which acts as a pH buffer and therefore counteracts hydrolysis.
