The bleaching principle of calcium hypochlorite mainly involves the reaction of calcium hypochlorite with carbon dioxide and water in the air to produce calcium carbonate and hypochlorite.

Calcium hypochlorite is mainly used for bleaching pulp in the papermaking industry and for bleaching cotton, linen, and silk fiber fabrics in the textile industry. It is also used for sterilization and disinfection of urban and rural drinking water, swimming pool water, etc. The chemical industry is used for the purification of acetylene and the manufacturing of chloroform and other organic chemical raw materials. Can be used as a wool anti shrink agent, deodorizer, etc.


When handling, it is important to load and unload with care to prevent damage to the packaging and containers. Vibration, impact, and friction are prohibited. Equip corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment and emergency response equipment for leaks. Empty containers may have residual harmful substances.
